10 Must-Try Restaurants and Cafés in Da Nang

From street-side eateries bursting with flavor to stylish cafés perfect for slow mornings, Da Nang is a true haven for food lovers.

The city’s culinary scene blends local specialties with modern twists, offering everything from iconic Vietnamese dishes to creative coffee experiences. Whether you’re here for a quick bite, a long brunch, or an unforgettable dinner, here are 10 restaurants and cafés in Da Nang you won’t want to miss.

1. Cơm Mẹ Nấu

Cơm Mẹ Nấu is a cozy family-run eatery where you can enjoy home-style Vietnamese meals. They offer 4–5 different dishes, all cooked to perfection and served in a spotless setting—a refreshing change from the usual Cơm Bình Dân spots.

Honestly, it’s exactly the type of spot my wife and I had been searching for in other cities—affordable, clean, healthy, and absolutely delicious.

Address: 149 Tô Hiến Thành, Phước Mỹ, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

2. Phở Long Hói

Phở Long Hói is the kind of spot I could happily eat at every day. Interestingly, it draws plenty of foreigners in search of a good phở or a bánh mì sốt vang.

The quality here is outstanding for the price (35-55,000 VND)—honestly, even in Hanoi, the birthplace of phở, I couldn’t find the same level of quality for under 100K VND.

Address: 46 Nguyễn Văn Thoại, Bắc Mỹ Phú, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

3. Heo nướng lu Ông Phú Đạt

If you’re a fan of bánh mì, this spot serves up one of the best in Da Nang. For just 25K, you’ll get a perfectly made sandwich with crispy roasted pork—and it even comes with a bottle of water.

It may not be the biggest or the fanciest bánh mì around, but it’s simple, well-balanced, fresh, and full of flavor—a clear winner in my book.

Address: 128 Nguyễn Duy Hiệu, An Hải Đông, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

4. Ông Nhị Đặc Sản Nem Nướng Nha Trang

This was our very first meal in Da Nang, and we were genuinely impressed—the Nem Nuong here far surpassed the one we had tried in Long Bien.

The Nem Nuong here are by far the most flavorful we’ve had, paired with Banh Trang that’s sturdy enough to roll yet soft enough to enjoy without water. The vegetables, especially the salad, are incredibly fresh.

Address: 16 Lê Hữu Trác, An Hải, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

5. Bún thịt nướng Bà Trai

Bún Thịt Nướng Bà Trai was a lucky find while wandering around, and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

The place was buzzing with customers coming and going, a good sign from the start. The staff, including the owner, clearly care about what they do—you can taste it in the generous portions and the deliciously grilled pork. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Address: 194 Đống Đa, Thuận Phước, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

6. Cửa Ngõ Café

Cửa Ngõ Café, located in My An, stands out with its Spanish-Mexican–inspired architecture. It’s a great spot to relax or snap a few photos, and their coffee and fresh fruit are genuinely delicious.

One of its best features is the proximity to My Khe Beach, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee before or after a beach visit.

Address: 102 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, Quận Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng

7. Tan Coffee

Tan Coffee is a bright, airy café with large windows that make it a dream spot for photographers. Situated in Hai Chau, it’s often lively with visitors. Don’t miss the Coconut Caocao—it’s absolutely delicious.

The open kitchen and staircase give the space an atelier-like vibe, and there’s a dedicated spot for working on your laptop. I’d highly recommend it to both artists and digital nomads.

Address: 10 Nguyễn Thiện Thuật, Phước Ninh, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

8. Bánh lọc Huế Bà Vân

Tucked away in Son Tra, this spot is a real hidden gem. Nestled in the quiet, relaxing streets near our hotel, it offers excellent food and very friendly staff.

I’d highly recommend it to anyone who loves Bánh Bột Lọc, Bánh Ram, or Bánh Nam Huế.

Address: 17 An Cư 2, An Hải Bắc, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

9. Burger House Da Nang (햄버거)

This burger spot is exactly what I had been searching for in Vietnam but couldn’t find in Hanoi. I’ve tried many places, including Chops, but was never fully satisfied.

These burgers are by far the best I’ve had in Vietnam, evoking the style and taste of the classic American burgers I loved while living in San Diego. Truly delicious.

Address: 253 D. Đình Nghệ, An Hải Bắc, Sơn Trà, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

10. Istanbul Anatolian Kebab House

Istanbul Anatolian Kebab, situated in My An, serves surprisingly authentic and delicious Turkish kebabs.

Honestly, I haven’t come across a more genuine kebab anywhere in France, let alone in Vietnam. The flavors are spot-on, and you can even enjoy it with a traditional Ayran.

Address: 58 Lê Quang Đạo, Bắc Mỹ An, Ngũ Hành Sơn, Đà Nẵng 550000, Viêt Nam

Bonus : Bún Chả Cá

Bún Chả Cá is one of those local favorites, similar to Hu Tieu in the south, that’s both beloved and healthy. We tried a few spots, but our favorite was a small place in the northwest of Son Tra.

12. Bonus round : Street Vendors

Street vendors, especially those selling coconut desserts, are truly a treat. The combination of sweet and salty creates a delicious and surprisingly healthy flavor. They can be a bit tricky to find, but if you come across one, don’t miss it.
